The River House is a new house with three self-contained apartments in Podreča near Mavčiče, a quiet village a few minutes' walk from the Sava river. It lies in the Gorenjska region, about a quarter of an hour by car from Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport.

All three apartments have two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table, TV and free Wi-Fi. Parking on the property is free and check-in is self-service, so you can arrive at your own pace.

The apartments suit families, couples, groups of friends and business travellers who want quiet countryside with quick access to the cities. From Podreča you reach Kranj in 10 minutes, Ljubljana or Škofja Loka in 15 minutes, and Lake Bled in 40 minutes.

Each apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and free Wi-Fi. Choose the ground-floor garden, the balcony, or the Karavanke view under the roof.

The living room opens straight onto the terrace, which is shaded in the evening. Each bedroom has a double bed and there is a sofa in the living room. Ideal for families with children and guests travelling with a dog.

The house is a few minutes' walk from the Sava. Around it are forests, fields and Lake Zbilje for a swim or a walk. By car you are quickly in Ljubljana, Kranj or Bled.

One of Slovenia's best-preserved medieval towns, with Loka Castle, a stone bridge and cobbled squares.

The capital, with Ljubljana Castle, the Triple Bridge, the central market and cafés along the Ljubljanica. Park on the edge of town and take the bus into the centre.

The lake with its island church, Bled Castle and the famous cream cake. Vintgar Gorge and Lake Bohinj are nearby.

Along the Savaon foot

Paths along the river lead through forest and fields for walking, running and cycling. In summer your host is happy to recommend swimming spots.

Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport at Brnik is about 15 minutes by car.

Is parking free?

Yes. You park on the property at no extra cost.

How do check-in and check-out work?

Check-in is from 15:00, and you can also arrive late in the evening: you collect the key from a code locker, and we send you the code before arrival. Check-out is by 10:00.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, in the Garden Apartment and the Panorama Apartment. For the Balcony Apartment, please ask before booking.

Do the apartments have air conditioning?

The Balcony Apartment has air conditioning, and the Panorama Apartment has it in the living room. The ground-floor Garden Apartment has no air conditioning.
